- To nix oily roots or to just add volume, apply a small amount of dry shampoo, ideally in a spray form ( try Tomy B. Dry Shampoo). Spray directly on roots and with your finger tips lightly massage in.
- When it is raining out, twist blown-out hair into a low tight chignon and secure it with large U-shape pins. Release hair when you get indoors.
- In the winter the best way from letting the cold wet air affect your hair, is to tuck the ends under the collar of your jacket whenever you are outside. This is keep the ends sleek and finished.
- When going to the gym position a terry band at your hairline to hold back layers, twist the ends of the hair back into a bun BUT only use large U-shape pins. The trick is to wait until the hair is completely dry before removing the pins and terry band.
- When a blowout falls flat refresh it with a light spritz of water over the hairline and the part . Remove the nozzle from your blow dryer and with low power and low heat lightly dry the hair ( Don't completely dry the area and don't use a brush or your fingertips just let the air from the dryer run over the hair). The products that were already in your hair will reactivate, skip this process if your hair tends to turn frizzy.
- When the blowout is on its last legs, the best thing to do to revive the hair is to twirl the hair in large sections around a one-inch barrel curling iron. This creates soft waves and smooths the hair, leaving you with tosselled and sexy look and one more style without re-blow drying your hair.
